There are always going to be questions, and we welcome any and all questions.  Please feel free to call us anytime.  But here are a few of some top questions we get that will help answer your immediate questions.

Do I need to tan before my session?

No. We discourage tanning prior to your session so we don’t have to work around tan lines.

Can I spray tan before my session?

No. We strongly discourage spray tanning as it tends to read orange on the images.

I hate my thighs – can we avoid photographing those?

Yes. And any other part of your body you don’t like – we have you fill out a questionnaire where we learn what areas you would like to emphasize and what other areas to avoid.

I don’t have any sexy lingerie – do I have to go buy some?

Before your session, you meet with our stylist who will help style your look and borrow from our wardrobe. We help to translate your vision so you feel and look your best. If what we have doesn't meet your needs, we can shop with you and advise on the best wardrobe for your shoot.

I have a hair stylist/makeup artist I work with – can I come camera ready?

Unfortunately, no. If your hairstylist/makeup artist is on our approved list, they may assist you in getting ready at the studio, however, there will be no reduction in price.

What do I wear to my session?

We ask you to wear comfortable clothes that do not fit tight – ie: no underwear or bra. This way there are no indentations in your skin that must be photo shopped afterwards. When you arrive, we will have you change into a black robe for hair and makeup so that you can relax during the glam process.

Can I bring a friend?

Friends are great – and we all get by with a little help from them. If it makes you feel more comfortable, then yes they are welcomed, although we don’t encourage it. Friends may not take photos or record your session. Nor can they interfere in any way with the photography, wardrobe or glam process.

I would like very tasteful pictures with no nudity – is that ok?

Yes. Whether your look is lingerie, a men’s shirt or completely nude, we are able to accommodate with no judgement. Our job is to make you feel sexy while being comfortable – what ever that means to you. We are also LBGTQ friendly.

I’m worried about my images being on the internet?

Your images are approved by you the day you shoot. In order to expedite your desired print products (book, wall image, etc) we may need to send you a file over the internet. If this is not ok, we can always meet in person to discuss final approval. Your images are stored on a secure digital server and only accessed by RedLine Boudoir or those creating your product.

Do you photo shop all the images?

Although we color correct all the proof images we show you in your image review, we will retouch select images.

All images selected for final prints, albums, digital images you order will be retouched in-house directly by our master photographer and retoucher.  We try to keep all of our images of you looking like you.  So we tastefully apply our method of retouching.  That will include skin smoothing, blemish removals, fixing hair, removal of any unpleasant scars, environmental and texture enhancements.  You can certainly request any special image adjustments.  If you prefer that we do not retouch your images and leave them as natural as possible, we can certainly accommodate that too.  You approve all final images before print to ensure you love yourself in your images.

My anniversary is in a couple of weeks and I need to rush getting an album for my spouse.  Can you help me out?

Yes.  However, there are some exceptions.  We prefer, as with everything in life, that you plan and prepare with sufficient amount of time so we have plenty of time for any unforeseen issues.  But depending on the workload and our work queue, we can push up our retouch and design schedule.  Of course, we are also dependent on printing and shipping constraints from our partner vendors.  We will advise you on the printing and delivery schedule.  We will also need to work with you to expedite the approval process of your final design before we order.  If there are any additional cost (shipping, rush charge etc.) we will advise you prior to order so you can approve any additional cost associated.  If you anticipate a rush situation, please let us know in advance of the shoot so we can plan accordingly.

Are there any additional costs to the photo session?

The cost of your session will be the session fee plus any other product you purchase associated to the session contract.  All of that will presented to you upfront and as a part of the final proposal.  Additional costs, although rare, would be in any specific set design, backdrops, items or props that are not in our inventory that you specifically request and approve.  But most of our shoots use our sets and backdrops which are plenty sufficient for our creative process.

Also, if you add additional pages, want additional products, or request any custom product, that will be quoted on request.

Are you open to a destination boudoir photo shoot?

Uhhh, Yes!!!

If you choose to have a shoot at a special location, like Las Vegas or Paris, you will be responsible for any travel and accommodations.  We are very excited at any destination prospect as it will excite the creative process and gives us the opportunity to do some amazing location shoots.  We will work with you and give you a special quote for this opportunity.
